Volusia County deputies believe Creeks Edge murder suspect is dead, GPD identifies the victim

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Police Department has identified the victim in Tuesday’s Creeks Edge shooting death as 24-year-old Brooke Elizabeth Smith.
The suspect in the shooting, Xavion Perry III, was last seen in Daytona Beach, where he fled on foot from a traffic stop. Volusia County Sheriff’s Office has now announced that a body, believed to be Perry, washed up on the beach. Official confirmation is pending.

I feel sorry for the victim …someone admonished me in a previous post and said it was the public school system that let him down… that more needed to be spent on education…
