Waldo Mayor Louie Davis endorses Marshall Rawson for Florida House

Press release from Marshall Rawson for Florida State House

HAMPTON, Fla. – Today, the Marshall Rawson campaign announced the endorsement of Waldo Mayor Louie Davis.

“I’m very proud to endorse Marshall Rawson for the State House,” said Mayor Louie Davis. â€śHe will look out for our small towns and rural communities and ensure that we aren’t forgotten. I have full faith that he will fight tirelessly for lower taxes and limited government and be a staunch defender of life and our Second Amendment rights in the Florida Legislature.”

Louie Davis is a lifelong North Florida resident and has served as Mayor of the City of Waldo for over four decades. Prior to becoming mayor, he served on the Waldo City Council and as the city’s fire chief for over 10 years.

“Thank you to Mayor Louie Davis for joining my team and supporting the campaign,” said Marshall Rawson. â€śI can’t wait to get to work for House District 10 in Tallahassee and deliver real results for my constituents. As we build Florida’s future, I’m committed to slashing taxes, protecting families and their communities, and investing in and strengthening our state’s agriculture industry.”

Marshall Rawson is a lifelong Floridian and owns and operates Free State Growers, an agricultural business. Previously, Marshall has served as a Washington aide and intern to Republican Congressman Paul Broun, legal assistant to Secretary of State Cord Byrd, and as a legal intern for the Florida Department of Agriculture. A dedicated citizen-leader, he has also been an advocate across Florida for various issues, including immigration reform, state sovereignty, and agriculture. Marshall is the past Chairman of the Greater Melrose Republican Liberty Caucus and currently serves as the North Florida Regional Director of the Republican Liberty Caucus. He also serves in the Florida Guard and has been deployed to the Texas border to help stop illegal immigration. Marshall and his wife Megan have been married for almost 8 years and have four children.

  • I’m not running comms for this person, but maybe just maybe consider telling the public what district/office you’re running for in your press release.

    • I don’t think endorsements of any kind, carry the weight they used to.

  • Free State Growers is in Kansas, so not getting how he owns it, he is endorsed by a John Birch Society national officer, among his Google images is a confederate flag, so not sure his loyalty to the US, he is promoting DOGE which means he’s ignorant of or doesn’t care about laws including the US Constitution, and also not sure what a “fearless conservative” is, but it doesn’t suggest thoughtfulness and an even temperament.
