  • If he was being impartial, he would launch the audits into all counties. And also try to pass a law with funding that would authorize regular audits so it doesn’t look like a political witch hunt or just performance.

      Gainesville has been a thorn, a cancerous lesion for years to the state legislature, always attempting to circumvent the laws enacted. It started before Covid but it just manifested itself more during the pandemic. Between the City, County and SBAC, they’ve ignored state laws at every opportunity. Many knew this day would eventually come and now it has.

      Instead of the liberal lemmings following the piper, now it may be time to pay the piper.

      • That’s why we’re prosperous and growing, attracting investment and innovation while our red Republicans neighbors focus on anti-woke nonsense. Please recall Republicans have controlled the state for decades. Contrived emergency to take away elected home rule, sad bullying that needs to stop.
