Welcome Home! Gators Announce Championship Rally on Tuesday

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The national champion Florida Gators men’s basketball team will return to Gainesville on Tuesday and host a welcome-back rally with Florida students and fans at approximately 1:30 p.m. at Flavet Field on the UF campus.
Gator students and fans can welcome back the 2025 NCAA champion Gator basketball team at a championship rally Tuesday, April 8. The event begins at approximately 1:30 p.m. at Flavet Field on the UF campus.
Due to construction, fans must enter Flavet Field from the north side, closest to Stadium Road. Flavet Field is located off of Woodlawn Drive between Stadium and Museum Road.
The event is free. The team will be introduced at the bandshell upon their arrival with comments from head coach Todd Golden and others.
Parking will be available in Garage 114.

Won by beating a defensive team by defense. It was anybody’s game at the end – 2 point lead – but rather than diminishing the win, it honors the quality of the opponent.
Noted on TV last night: UF is the only school that has 3 football and 3 BB NCs. Also has a baseball NC, Women’s soccer, Softball, Gymnastics, Track, Swimming, Tennis, Golf, and maybe others.
A live shot on TV last night showed the Empire State Building with it’s top lit with orange and blue lights.
