Latest word is Lane K has too much ego.
There’s only a couple of HBCs I can think of who had those types of egos, and I believe one was at the press conference.
That being said, if Sumrall is a bust, the people who finance the operations may want to rethink who they hired to run the Athletic Department.
Based on his record, Lane Kiffen, has left a few other schools with a fair amount of animosity. Maybe we dodged a bullet and saved us from a unpleasant separation by not hiring him?
Not a fan of Strickland, but glad Kiffin isn’t coming here. Sumrall nailed his introductory presser and hard to not like the guy. Gung ho, personally humble, but brimming with confidence – hard to not like him after watching it.
