GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Diane Pierre, 23, was arrested yesterday evening after allegedly entering the home of her ex-boyfriend and attacking a woman who was in the bathroom.

Pierre allegedly showed up to her ex-boyfriend’s home, unannounced and uninvited, and walked in through the front door. A woman visiting the home was in the bathroom at the time, and the ex-boyfriend was out shopping. The female victim reportedly said that Pierre came into the bathroom and began hitting her with closed fists, causing red marks, scratches, and blurry vision.

The female victim said she was able to stand up and begin pushing Pierre out of the home, then the male victim reportedly returned from the store and began pulling Pierre off the female victim, then pushing her out of the home. Pierre then reportedly drove away.

Pierre was contacted later at her residence, and post Miranda, she reportedly admitted entering the home uninvited but said that the female victim hit her first, then “things got physical.”

Pierre has been charged with battery and burglary with battery. She has no criminal record and is being held on $5,000 bail.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

  • By “ex-boyfriend” does she mean an ex-roommate with benefits? Until he realized he was sleeping with a monster and wanted the sofa instead?
