Woman arrested for pointing gun at juvenile playing ding-dong-ditch prank
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tiffany Nicole Hall, 40, was arrested yesterday for allegedly pointing a gun at the head of a juvenile who knocked on her door with two friends and ran.
At about 5 p.m. on February 15, a Gainesville Police Department officer responded to the 3200 block of NW 18th Street, where three juveniles reportedly knocked on Hall’s door and ran, playing a prank known as “ding dong ditch.” They said they were walking down the street when a juvenile male ran after them, tackled one of them to the ground, and started punching him.
The victim said Hall walked up and pointed a gun at his head, which made him afraid he was going to die.
Post Miranda, Hall reportedly said she heard several knocks on her front door, and she and the juvenile male ran out of the house to see who had knocked. She said that when she caught up to the victim, his friends, and the juvenile male, she started yelling at the kids and telling them they could have gotten shot. She said she went to one of the juveniles’ homes and spoke with his parents. She denied brandishing the pistol but reportedly admitted she had it in her possession during the incident.
The juvenile male who allegedly tackled and punched one of the juveniles is listed as a co-defendant in the incident, but the charges aren’t public because he’s a juvenile.
Hall has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She has one misdemeanor conviction (non-violent) for resisting an officer without violence after an October 2024 arrest for disorderly conduct. Judge Jonathan Ramsey set bail at $15,000 on the new charge.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

It must be one of those so called ‘violent guns’ the commissioners seem to think are causing all the violence.
What a dingbat.
Now thanks to her, and cultural themes, her accomplice will have a record for battery as well. What fine examples for the neighborhood.
Real recognize real obviously it’s not all “fun and games” in the ghetto
Is this an example of “black on black” crime?
Ding dong the witch has been had. Stupid thing to do on both ends of this drama.
Play silly games, get silly prizes. even though she was in the wrong, so was he. maybe he will think before trying DDD again.
