GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Leondra Vicktory Robinson, 26, was arrested on March 15 and charged with eight felonies involving drug dealing, money laundering, and tampering with evidence after she allegedly tried to move her boyfriend’s gun and drugs after learning that deputies were searching another address used by the couple.

On December 15, following an investigation into a group of people suspected of being involved in narcotics distribution, Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant on a residence where Johnny Holmes, Robinson’s boyfriend, was suspected of dealing drugs. Other deputies were watching Robinson’s address, which had been identified as another residence of Holmes and Robinson.

A short time after the search warrant was initiated, Robinson reportedly received a call from a third party, advising her that the search warrant was in process. She then left the apartment, driving Holmes’ orange sports car. Robinson reportedly dropped the highly-visible car off at another location and borrowed a white Honda sedan from a family member of Holmes. Deputies saw Robinson return to the apartment in the Honda, then take a cardboard box and place it in the trunk of the Honda. Deputies stopped her and, in a search of the Honda and the apartment, reportedly found 3,660 grams of marijuana, 0.2 grams of MDMA, 0.2 grams of Oxycodone Hydrochloride, $2,129 in cash (believed to be drug proceeds), a money counter, miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, an AR-15, a drum-style high-capacity magazine for the rifle, a second firearm, additional magazines, and additional ammunition.

Post Miranda, Robinson reportedly admitted that she had swapped cars to drive something less noticeable to law enforcement while she removed drugs and other items from the apartment. She also reportedly admitted that she was attempting to flee with the evidence before a search warrant was served at her apartment. The apartment is reportedly 900 feet from a daycare.

Post Miranda, Holmes told deputies that the AR-15 and marijuana were his. Holmes was arrested on December 15 and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a daycare, maintaining a drug dwelling, and possession of drug equipment; he was released on $5,000 bail. Holmes is additionally facing charges similar to Robinson’s, with the exception of tampering with evidence.

Robinson has been charged with possession of more than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a daycare, possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a daycare, two counts of possession of an opium derivative with intent to sell within 1,000 feet of a daycare, possession of drug equipment, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of selling drugs, violating money laundering regulations, and tampering with evidence.

Based on the December 15 events, Judge James Colaw signed a warrant for Robinson’s arrest on March 15 and set bail at $130,000. Robinson has no criminal history.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Every jail inmate should be given a multiple choice question, and pick one answer:

“You, a Gainesville resident must learn to:

    a. Flip houses or burgers
    or
    b. Show to work on time
    or
    c. Leave town ASAP”

    🙏🏻🙏🏾🙏🏿

    • You like the fact that you’re so proud of this that you copy and paste it in every article

  • CNAs aren’t “real nurses” or actually nurses at all. She’s likely going to lose her CNA license after the state learns about all of her crimes.

  • Meant to say once u need taken care of u might have attitude of gratitude!

  • Another high class citizen going nowhere. She’ll have a bright future with the taxpayers supporting her and all the babies she’ll have.

  • There’s a stark difference between being in a bind, and plain greed. She’s stupid for participating in her boyfriend’s scheme of greed.
