Woman charged with placing gun in girlfriend’s mouth while threatening to shoot her and knock her teeth out
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Amber A. Clark, 36, was arrested yesterday for allegedly opening her girlfriend’s mouth, placing a gun inside her mouth, and threatening to shoot her and knock her teeth out.
At about 5:50 p.m. on August 8, the two women were reportedly arguing at their storage unit near the intersection of Newberry Road and I-75; while sitting in their vehicle, with Clark’s three children in the back seat, Clark allegedly punched the victim in the face, took a firearm from her purse, and put it in the victim’s mouth while threatening to shoot her.
Clark allegedly told the victim she would give her a concussion and would knock her teeth out.
Clark reportedly got out of the vehicle at the Oaks Mall, and the victim drove away to protect herself. The responding Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy reported that the victim’s face was red and bruised, and her injuries were consistent with her account of the incident. The victim also reportedly provided an audio recording of the incident.
The three children reportedly said they saw Clark open the victim’s mouth with her left hand while putting the gun inside her mouth with her right hand.
Post Miranda, Clark reportedly did not want to answer any questions.
There is nothing in the arrest report that explains why Clark’s booking photo appears to show her in a medical facility.
Clark, whose listed address is in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The deputy reported that she has a previous charge for battery out of Pennsylvania. This article will be updated on Monday with her criminal history and bail amount.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
I didn’t think people liked Florida’s politics?
Given the incursion by these types, one might conclude they sure love Alachua County’s.
Classy.
