GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A woman was shot this evening at Sweetwater on 16th.
At about 9:28 p.m., Gainesville Police Department officers responded to a report that a person was shot in the area of 200 SE 16th Avenue. Officers found a woman who had been shot in the stomach; she was transported to a local hospital.
I was playing the game with the door open and I heard this. Like 50yds away. It’s crazy. Felt like call of duty in real life

GPD is task with trying to control and overcoming Wards and Arreola’s carnage producing agenda. Get rid of the woke politicians and judges to solve this. Please don’t be ignorant and criticize the brave ones trying to protect us. They would love to have their Horses and Dogs back with no restrictions ,as well as ( OMG) stop and frisk. Wokesville war on law and order is as obvious as why their agendas got them fired by the Governor and State Legislature. Maybe they should be removed from and decisions based on keeping us safe.
No, they got shot because another thug thought it was a good idea at the moment.
It’s not the gun’s fault, or the knife’s, or the rock’s, and a summit focused on the firearm and not the dysfunctional family won’t solve a darn thing.

The problem is that GPD with staffing and its constant attack by woke ideas and policies gas become a response agency. 911 is called about a shooting, GPD responds and cleans up the mess and maybe arrest someone. Long gone are the days of proactive policing and target crime units that would round up the thugs and place them where they belong. Nowadays GPD stops someone there is more concern if the thug is going to complain or they have to ask the chief if it’s ok to stop a thug or make an arrest.

Two women shot in three days. Earlier this week our city and county commissions engaged in a joint meeting where three commissioners expressed great concern. Unfortunately, the rest of the members felt it wasn’t the “appropriate” time to discuss gun violence.
No person should live in fear for their life regardless of where they live, but now this is a reality no matter where you live. I’m ready to have real conversations and start addressing the elephant in the room.
Out of touch individuals with political agendas don’t fix problems, they fix elections by allowing the problems to grow.
As long as we have this UNBELIEVABLE, type of Government in place in the city and county, the SOCIAIST DEM’S, (ON THEIR WAY TO BEING COMMUNIST’S), voted in, Their will be violence like this.
