Woman with 32 convictions arrested for allegedly spitting on convenience store manager

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Charnetta Monique Kyler, 52, was arrested yesterday for allegedly spitting on the manager of a convenience store; she was also charged with trespassing after a warning and possession of drug equipment.
A Gainesville Police Department officer reported that at about 1:42 p.m. on May 2, the manager of Wawa said a black woman had been approaching vehicles and disturbing guests of the business; he said the woman had a history of causing a disturbance at the store and had been previously trespassed.
The manager said the woman became verbally aggressive and lunged at him; before turning to leave, she allegedly spat on the manager. The manager said he was “disgusted” by the incident.
The manager did not know the woman’s identity, and she was not located on May 2.
At about 8:35 a.m. on May 12, a Gainesville Police Department officer was patrolling in the area of Wawa when he saw Kyler walking behind the business and recognized her as the woman who had been involved in the May 2 incident.
While the officer was speaking with Kyler, she allegedly dropped a glass pipe from her hand to the ground and then picked it up; the officer reported that it was a pipe that is commonly used to smoke illegal substances.
The manager reportedly identified Kyler as the woman who had spat on him on May 2 and had been verbally trespassed on that date.
Kyler has been charged with battery, possession of drug equipment, and trespassing after a warning. She has nine felony convictions (three violent) and 23 misdemeanor convictions (six violent); she has served four state prison sentences, with her most recent release in December 2025. Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $9,000 and ordered a mental health evaluation; she also ordered that Kyler be screened for Mental Health Court and said the trial judge must approve her release to Court Services.

What is this spitting trend amongst black people? Who raised these people? Are they all mentally ill or just your run of the mill “angry black woman / man”?
Thats the problem they never was raised most of them. 1/2 Don’t know who their daddy is. Mom had a half dozen or more kids to increase her welfare handout by the time of six or seven years old. They running around on the streets mom don’t know where they at or what they’re doing as long as they’re out of the house and she don’t have to deal with them. She’s OK with that.

That seems to be the national trend, Judges keep letting criminals go until they kill someone and even then some of those are STILL being let out.

I knew one person of the like that thought getting a job was something you did for a day to get enough money to get high. Last I knew he was doing 13 years for selling after rejecting a plea for stolen property to a pawn broker.
