Women arrested for battery and attempted battery on deputies during University Avenue brawl

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Limackie Lee Classy McMahon, 26, of Ocala, and La’naysha Anteria Samuel, 18, were arrested early this morning after allegedly battering or attempting to batter deputies who were trying to break up a fight on University Avenue.
At about 3:26 a.m., law enforcement officers from multiple agencies responded to a “violent and tumultuous brawl with multiple people” at 1116 W. University Avenue. Despite multiple commands to disengage from the fight, McMahon and Samuel allegedly continued fighting.
McMahon allegedly shoved an Alachua County Sheriff’s (ASO) Deputy in full uniform, and this was witnessed by a Gainesville Police Department (GPD) officer.
Samuel allegedly tried to punch a different ASO Deputy in full uniform, and this was witnessed by a different GPD officer. Officers reportedly had to use pepper spray to gain control of Samuel, and she was treated at the scene by EMS for exposure to pepper spray.
McMahon has been charged with disorderly conduct and battery on a law enforcement officer. She has one traffic misdemeanor conviction, and Judge William Davis ordered her released on her own recognizance.

Why did deputies break up the fight between the two of them. They should have just grabbed a popcorn and a cold drink and watched from ringside.

Another, mostly peaceful street party? People who work for a living are sleeping at 3 am, not out partying. They are also intelligent enough to not mix with people with a different attitude than themselves.

A world where you need to keep your head on a swivel everywhere. Sitting in traffic, walking into Walmart, wherever these people are. Also one where you should carry concealed and be proficient in reading and exiting a developing situation before bad things to you. These people don’t have a conscience, and certainly don’t have control of their emotions. It is obvious the justice system doesn’t stand behind it’s law enforcement, why would they stand behind you when you become their next victim?
Check the FBI crime statistics if you really want to know who ‘these people’ are. Most liberals can’t handle the truth based on facts not Marxist philosophy.
Where were the riot control shotguns, police helicopters, police dogs nipping at people not listening? These gatherings should never end well for the participants. They should in fact end very badly so they won’t keep doing the same stupid animalistic stuff over and over. And get us a real City Manager instead of Little Bo-Peep.
