If I have to ask my boss if I want a raise, maybe they should ask their boss(es) before getting one?
There should be a charter amendment that commissioners, city and county, are prohibited from increasing their salaries unless it is approved by 65% of voters.
Oh wait, the uneducated idiot voters would probably vote “yes” for that as well.

The new commission should reclaim the $500,000 budgeted for Saco’s idiotic Spanish translation hotline.That would cover their raises for the first couple of years or so.
As usual, any news about the city of Gainesville makes me glad I live in the county.
The elitists commission needs to afford traditional single-family homes.
