ASO searching for suspects near Gainesville Country Club, asks residents to shelter in place

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputies are working an active incident in which an armed suspect fled into the wooded area west of the intersection of SW 35th Drive and SW Williston Road toward the Gainesville Country Club. We are asking the residents of the Gainesville Country Club and the surrounding area to Shelter in Place and report any suspicious person that you see in the area to 352-955-1818.
We are currently searching for two white males and a white female who are all believed to be in their 20s. It is believed that one of the males who fled was in possession of a firearm.

Sadly, that I-75 corridor is a frequent magnet for pedestrian and homeless criminals, not just motorist criminals.
Maybe they’ll run into the “right” person rather than the “left” one.
Dumb comment. Just because some us think desantis is only in office to serves himself doesn’t mean we don’t carry or know how to shoot.
