Isn’t Arredondo estates private? Why is the county in there paving roads? I wish the county would come by and pave my private road….
the trailer park that used to be called Arredondo is now the Palms of Archer. I think Arredondo Estates refers to the neighborhood on the North side of Archer Road behind Top Hog. Apparently those roads are County Maintained.
Why do they pave in wet summer months? Is it by design, so there’ll be more potholes, sooner? They should only pave in dry seasons (Oct—April).
Perhaps you could offer your road engineering expertise to the County? Please share your qualifications.
Come on all you old farts. This is what you are all complaining about. Time to get happy about your pot holes being fixed!
NW 98 Street between Newberry Rd and 39 Ave 3 laned?
AC BOCC and their Public Works director couldn’t care less about our roads! However, since this is an election year, they are trying their best to make you think they care by throwing a little bit of black top on your very own pothole!
Laugh, it is good for us! Here is a little joke to loosen up! You can imagine the original words in the joke, I took the liberty of changing them to make it “almost family friendly!” It is not mine and I don’t own any rights to it:
A priest is taking a cab home from church:
A priest is taking a cab home from church after a long day of services. It’s night and it’s raining heavily. Suddenly the taxi hits a pothole. The driver mutters under his breath “Son of a Gun!” Seconds later, they hit another pothole and the driver says “Crap!” The priest has finally had enough,
“Son, don’t use these words, they anger our Good Lord. Say for instance, ‘Lord help us'”
The cabbie reluctantly agrees. As they drive on, they hit a really big pothole and the entire wheel falls off! The cabbie remembering the priest’s words says “Lord help us!” Suddenly, the wheel stops, rolls back, and snaps back on!
“What the hell?” said the priest.
