GPD seeks help identifying man who shot woman walking dog

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – On Wednesday, January 24, around 7:30 a.m., a female dog walker was robbed at gunpoint and shot in the area of Depot Park. The subject circled the area and approached her multiple times before the robbery occurred. We urge anyone in this area to remain vigilant and to continue calling in any possible sightings or suspicious incidents. I know that people are entitled to walk where they want to walk and it’s a shame that you cannot do that and remain safe but if she had been approached multiple times before the robbery she should have took a different time and route to walk the dog because apparently he knew exactly what time she was going to be walking her dog thank God she’s okay and it wasn’t worse
She was circled multiple times and approached during the same walk. Not on multiple days. Reading is fundamental.

Maybe he thought the dawg was attacking the women and drew his legally purchased firearm and used his concealed carry training to shoot at the dawg, but unfortunately, for the lady, he missed the dawg and shot her. See it was all a big mistake.
