ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Proposed rezoning maps have been posted in advance of Wednesday’s rezoning workshop at 4 p.m. The details, such as specific streets, are a little easier to see in the original presentation (linked above), but not much.

The link above has higher-quality maps than the images below.

Elementary

Middle school

High school

Along with the new maps, the presentation linked above discusses limiting seat allotments for incoming freshmen in some high school magnet programs, presumably at Buchholz and Newberry High School.

Details on Wednesday’s rezoning workshop are here.

  • For God’s sake don’t include any landmarks or road identification. Did Transpiration help the Failed Board Members with this map?

    • Click on the link in the article and it will go to high resolution maps.

  • Welp, its easy to see from these proposed rezoning maps where new schools should be built. But much like the education aspect of what the school board should be focused on, this to is ignored because it doesn’t further the boards social engineering agenda.
