For nearly 10 years, I have left messages and actually spoken with people in the DOT about NW 53rd avenue. The pavement on this road between 441 and Waldo road is badly grooved, causing one to shift lanes or end up in the ditch.
Soon there will be a head on collision.
Can anyone help me find an answer?
Totally agree! This stretch of road is horrible. Hasn’t been any action on its re paving in years.
It’s scheduled for this year: https://alachuachronicle.com/when-will-that-terrible-road-get-paved/
Thanks Jennifer. The intersection at 53rd and Main is beyond bad. By far the worst in town imo.
